Imho, this possibility should be introduced considering the importance of encrypted disks + LVM on machines that don't have hardware raid available.
Any workaround, maybe via preseed early_command?

Bug description:
  partman-auto-raid supports presseeding lvm & regular file systems. It
  should also support preseeding dm-crypt + lvm.
