It looks like there may be an issue with the media from which you were
installing:
Sep 29 08:01:20 ubuntu-gnome apt-setup: E: Failed to stat /cdrom/dev/fd/4/var/lib/rpm/Packages - stat (2: No such file or directory)
Sep 29 08:01:20 ubuntu-gnome apt-setup: E: Unable to parse Release file /cdrom/dists/saucy/Release
Sep 29 08:01:20 ubuntu-gnome apt-setup: E: Stat failed for /cdrom/dev/fd/4/var/lib/rpm/Packages - stat (2: No such file or directory)
Sep 29 08:01:20 ubuntu-gnome apt-setup: E: No CD-ROM could be auto-detected or found using the default mount point.
Sep 29 08:01:20 ubuntu-gnome apt-setup: You may try the --cdrom option to set the CD-ROM mount point. See 'man apt-cdrom' for more information about the CD-ROM auto-detection and mount point.
Could you try checking it for defects?
