Title:
[udev] Rescue on server image fails to detect partitions

Status in “systemd” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Committed

Bug description:
  Image: 20130925.1 amd64 server

  1. install with guided partitioning, no lvm, raid, or encryption
  2. reboot from the cdimage
  3. select rescue

It tells me that there were no root partitions found to mount, but
clearly there is one. I exited out to a shell, and was able to mount
  it by hand just fine.

I did notice in the syslog (after mounting):
  rescue-mode: no partitions found!
EXT3-fs (sda1): error: couldn't mount because of unsupported optional features (240)
  EXT4-fs (sda1): recovery complete
EXT4-fs (sda1): mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. Opts: (null)
