Title:
Ubiquity fails to launch in oem install

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Image: 20130923.1 amd64 desktop

I'm not 100% certain it's related to oem mode or not just yet, but
I've had a few other installs work so far. The last install I did was
using encrypted lvm and worked fine. This time through (in
virtualbox) I selected oem install, and booted to the live image.
When I clicked the installer icon to run ubiquity, it blinked for a
bit but the installer window never came up.
