Status in “usb-creator” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  Ubuntu's startup disk creator turned very unreliable since Ubuntu
  12.04. Problems  I encounter are persistent..

  * "Installing the bootloader.." dialog runs for eternity.. only to
  close after 15 minute to show an 'Application closed unexpectedly'
  error

  -- This happens irrespective of the choice of 'Persistent Storage"
