You seem to have some experimental Xorg packages installed that are
causing the upgrade to fail. If you have used experimental Xorg PPAs you
should use ppa-purge to restore the original Ubuntu packages prior
performing a distribution upgrade.

Title:
  13.10 update problem

Status in “ubuntu-release-upgrader” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
Upgrade from 13.04 does not appear to be able to upgrade to new
repository channels. I have checked the channels and am just now using
the default, still the same problem.

The only thing that seems out of the ordinary is that I have an
encrypted hard drive from my original installation. The upgrade to the
previous 13.04 went without a hitch.
