Public bug reported:

Upon running 'do-release#upgrade' I noticed the apt-get update ran
initially reported a lot of 'Err' codes whilst updating (this does not
normally happen) e.g.:

Hit http://ppa.launchpad.net raring/main amd64 Packages
Hit http://ppa.launchpad.net raring/main i386 Packages
Err http://ppa.launchpad.net raring/main Translation-en_GB

Err http://ppa.launchpad.net raring/main Translation-en

Hit http://ppa.launchpad.net raring/main i386 Packages
Err http://ppa.launchpad.net raring/main Translation-en_GB

Err http://ppa.launchpad.net raring/main Translation-en

Then I am asked to 'press enter to continue', another apt-get upgrade
appears to run, again with a lot of Err's e.g.:

Hit http://gb.archive.ubuntu.com saucy-backports/main Sources

I have noticed a lot of these errors are from translation packages for
some reason, anyway I am then presented with this screen:

Calculating the changes

Could not determine the upgrade

An unresolvable problem occurred while calculating the upgrade.

This can be caused by:
* Upgrading to a pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Running the current pre-release version of Ubuntu
* Unofficial software packages not provided by Ubuntu

If none of this applies, then please report this bug using the
command 'ubuntu-bug ubuntu-release-upgrader-core' in a terminal.
