Progress is only shown when the filesystem is checked in routine (<-bad
english, sorry). When it is checked resulting from unclean
unmount/abrupt shutdown no feedback is given.

Bug description:
  When the system was shut down abruptly fsck will be forced during next
  boot. Up to now it was possible to get a feedback when pressing <ESC>
  or <UpArrow> - although no progress was shown a message was displayed
  like "/dev/sda1 not cleanly unmounted, check forced.". By now no such
  message is displayed even when looking for console output.

  I think a feedback should be given even in splash screen. Like the
  feedback when doing fsck after x mounts..
