  Kubuntu: Upgrading to version 13.10 _Error message

Status in “ubuntu-release-upgrader” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Kubuntu: While upgrading to version 13.10 from 13.04 sytem asked about
  removing obsolete packages. I said "Yes" and the installer returned
  this error message. I wonder how fatal this could be. PLease help.
