Public bug reported:
I was upgrading to Kubuntu 13.10 from Kubuntu 13.04.
Almost all I know is in the title, I mistakenly closed the dialog that
reported the error without copying the text.
It said: the installation/upgrade will go on anyway, but the package
memtest may not work, because the installer did not have the rights to
create a symlink in my /boot folder (I guess because it points to a FAT
partition which does not allow symlinks)
It seems that the upgrade indeed goes on without further errors.
I don't know if I could expect something else than this error, because
my boot settings are non standard. Maybe if the file from the memtest
package is not too big, it could be copied instead of symlinked, and
thus show no error.
