UPDATE:

an error in the zsync process made me re-test the beta2 iso instead of
the proper image. Will try to replicate on the latest iso, but for so
far i will leave it marked as invalid.

  ubiquity installer doesnt show a progress bar while installing on
  saucy RC

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  In the
  http://iso.qa.ubuntu.com/qatracker/milestones/305/builds/55789/testcases
  ISO after encountering the bug #1220165 and saying the installer to
  continue on installing i get to stage of the slideshow with no
  progress bar visible anywhere.

  The test was done on a virtualbox machine, the installation was a
  whole disk installation that replaced a previous version of saucy
  (beta 2)

  The installation completes and the system seems to be in perfect order
  of installation.

  
  EDIT:
  Things i tried: 
   Tried to resize the window, it would only allow me to move it around.
   Tried to scroll the scrollbars, it only showed me the rest of the slide.
