Title:
SD card slot only available if card inserted when booting
Status in “util-linux” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Acer Aspire One SD slot appears to not be fully supported by Ubuntu 9.1 netbook edition as most netbooks have SD slots is this support planned or available.
Acer Aspire One Model ZG5 AOA150 Ubuntu 9.1 netbook edition.
If the SD card slot is empty when the PC is booted then when a SD card
is inserted it is not seen by the system, but if a card is in the SD
card slot at the time of booting the SD card slot is enabled and cards
are seen and can be safely removed and replaced with another card.
The card slots were enabled when booting Linpus Acer build with an
empty slot and so cards can be inserted after booting.
