Title:
RAID devices must be mounted in order

Status in “util-linux” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: util-linux

I have a Dell Optiplex 755 with a SATA RAID controller. All of the
partitions on the RAID device are listed in /dev/mapper. Which is
fine. However, when attempting to mount ntfs partitions, I must mount
them in numeric order, or else they do not work properly.

lperkins at d10033:~$ sudo mount /dev/mapper/
  control isw_cdhbgbheeg_Volume05 isw_cdhbgbheeg_Volume08
  isw_cdhbgbheeg_Volume0 isw_cdhbgbheeg_Volume06
  isw_cdhbgbheeg_Volume01 isw_cdhbgbheeg_Volume07

lperkins at d10033:~$ sudo mount /dev/mapper/isw_cdhbgbheeg_Volume05
  /media/Xfer/

  lperkins at d10033:~$ ls /media/Xfer/
ls: cannot access /media/Xfer/FRAGLIST.LUAR: Input/output error
ls: cannot access /media/Xfer/RECYCLER: Input/output error
  8ec427dc6cf870392c2420cf19a3cb RECYCLER
  FRAGLIST.LUAR System Volume Information

If I mount Volume01 first and then Volume 05 it works properly.
