How does this cause a problem?  It is an internal variable name so any
C++ modules linking to the library won't know or care about it.

  Incomplete

Bug description:
  libmount uses "new" in one of mnt_diff_tables parameters. This fatally
  confuses a compilation when the library is used in C++.

  The issue has been fixed upstream in version 2.21
