Public bug reported:

Today I tried to install Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS on a Lenovo Ideapad s205 in
UEFI mode. This machine has some trouble with Ubuntu and EFI so I don't
know if this is an Ubuntu bug or if this laptop decided to don't run
Ubuntu anymore. Ubuntu 12.04 was once installed but suddenly the EFI
implementation crashed and Grub wasn't loaded anymore instead the boot
device selection menu showed up everytime and booting from the HDD was
impossible (blank screen for 5 seconds or so).

So I tried reinstalling Ubuntu and was confronted with this error.

Hope this helps and you might have some further tips for me.

Kind regards

Paul
