Public bug reported:
Numerous problems with reinstall from CD, mainly regarding existing
configuration of partitions, eventually resulting in this crash.
It's disappointing that the install of Ubuntu allows only a very simple
"everything on the first drive" or a hugely complex process which
doesn't seem to have the LVM awareness that would handle the encrypted
/home and aggregation of multiple drives that I'd like to do.
What I end up with is Ubuntu on the first 256GB SSD, the second SSD and
two 1TB hard drives are left unused... surely some simple option to
include them could be provided by installer.
Thanks again for the system, despite concerns, still very remarkable.
