If it fails to eject altogether then this is likely NOT a duplicate.

Bug #966480 has only to do with being presented by a blank screen when
you should see a message indicating to "remove installation media, close
tray if any, and press enter".

  The Live CD for AMD64+Mac fails to reboot after the installation is
  complete

  The CD/DVD is ejected fine and the screen is cleared to a text
  console, then after a few steps, it hangs.
