  [12.04] usb-creator-gtk crashed with SIGSEGV

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: usb-creator

  When started from the menu USB Creator never creates a bootable USB
  stick.  It fails immediatly as it does not ask for root access.  When
  started in a root shell it crashes every time about 80% of the way
  through.
