Why do you think it is supposed to close?

Title:
mount.ntfs process doesn't exit after successfull mounting
Status in “ntfs-3g” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
I'm using Ubuntu 13.10 dev with ntfs-3g 1:2013.1.13AR.1-2ubuntu1. I
have the partition /dev/sda2 on my hdd which is a native ntfs
filesystem from Windows XP and /dev/sdf1 which is a fuseblk from
creating the filesystem with mkfs.ntfs. On mounting any of this both
partitions the /sbin/mount.ntfs process doesn't close after the
partition was successfull mounted. For example executing "mount
/dev/sda2 /mnt" and checking the current state will result in the
following output:
root at ubuntu:~# ls -a /mnt && sleep 10 && ps -Af | grep 'mount\.ntfs'
. .. bootfont.bin boot.ini Dokumente und Einstellungen NTDETECT.COM ntldr pagefile.sys Programme RECYCLER System Volume Information WINDOWS
root 7239 1 0 17:04 ? 00:00:00 /sbin/mount.ntfs /dev/sda2 /mnt -o rw
