Unfortunately I'm not able to provide the log file anymore, since that
crash happened in my tests machine, which since then has been several
times formatted to continue testing .

Title:
Ubiquity crash on Xubuntu Desktop i386 install entire disk
Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Running testcase Xubuntu Desktop i386 - Install (entire disk) of
Trusty Tahr's daily build (2013-11-18).
Trying to install on a virtual machine from a USB, ubiquity crashed at
the begining of the instalation.
"The installer encountered an error copying files to the hard disk:
[Errno 5] Input/output error
This is often due to a faulty CD/DVD...."
The instalation was not being done from a CD/DVD but from a USB stick
and the ISO MD5SUM was previously checked.
