Ahh, so it is crashing.  Can you run it under gdb and get a backtrace
when it crashes?

Bug description:
  On Ubuntu 12.04 . And reproduced also on Ubuntu 13.04.

  sudo blkid returns no output, while other tools such as parted or
  fdisk work correctly.
