Title:
  dosfsck-{3.0.9,3.0.12} fail with Buffer Overflow

Status in Dos FS Tools - MS-DOS filesystem tools:
  Fix Released
Status in “dosfstools” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
I encountered a buffer overflow from dosfsck when running it on a (possibly failing) USB key. I made a dump of the partition using
  `dd if=/dev/sdX1 of=file.img`. The error re-occurs with the image.

I compiled a more recent version (3.0.12) of dosfscktools and get the
  same error.

Console output & stack traces for each are attached.

I have a copy of the image available for testing, but cannot upload it
directly. I am happy to test new builds of dosfsck.
