[Bug 1252138] [NEW] I perged the compiz without knowingly I am knew to ubuntu 12.04 but now I facing updation problem

after that I facing the problem is that I cant update the ubuntu 12.04 every time I tried to update these are the message its show in the terminal and also in update manager whith the message that please check internet connection
and also in the terminal middle its showing the ERR http://ppa.launchpad.net precise/main source   404 not found
Err://ppa.launchpad.net pricese/main i386 packages     404 not found
and in the last of the terminal  it saying the below message
W:Failed to fetch http://ppa.launchpad.net/compiz/ppa/ubuntu/dists/precise/main/source/Sources  404  Not Found
