Bug description:
Binary package hint: memtest86+
A new version of memtest86+ was released recently and should be in
karmic if possible. There is already a bug in Debian to get it
packaged asap. This version adds support for new unreleased Intel CPUs
that will come out shortly after karmic and also has bug fixes for the
new Intel CPUs released this month (Lynnfield). I just bought one and
should have it in the next few days so can help to verify the new
memtest86+ works properly.
I will update this to a sync request once it is packaged for Debian
and will include the requisite photos proving it works properly as was
done for the update I did for Ubuntu 9.04.
