Title:
grub won't boot after fresh ubuntu installation, manual installation
  is the only solution

Status in “grub2” package in Ubuntu:
  Expired

Bug description:
It has happen to me, in really, really, many computers, the firsts
times that happened, y just reinstalled ubuntu, and in the second
installation it get to work, what it is really weird.

Now that i know more about linux and bash im able to install it
manually without any problem, what is weird to, normally a said to the
ubuntu installer to install bootloader in the disk, instead on a
specific partition, the last two times i did the same with the same
  results.

I wonder, if a new user comes out, just wanting to know more ubuntu,
and installs ubuntu 13.04, and it show to hem/her a brick computer, i
dont think it is a god way to win users, i want to help in this bug
the next time it happens, or if you say me how, giving logs to you
guys so you can fix it..., just tel me what to do.

I have 2 computers that have presented this behavior with me, so i can
search for intallation logs or something, and this comes happening
from a long time, i remembered installing a ubuntu 12.10 or 12.04 with
  th same results.
