Title:
  shim-signed update unrecognized option

Status in “shim-signed” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  I am having a macbook with ubuntu 12.04. Just did sudo-apt-get update;
  sudo apt-get upgrade; This installs an updated version of the package
  shim-signed.

  However, upon updating shim-signed, grub complains that it cannot
  recognize the option `--target=x86_64-efi'. Seems very related to a
  recent update on shim-signed that has been pushed recently,
  https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1242417.

  Below the resulting error message:

  sudo apt-get update;
