apt-get dist-upgrade gave errors about Perl, so I tried upgrading from
12.04 to 13.04 and got the errors in this report.  It's really hosed.

Lots of errors related to Perl, then some Python2.7 exceptions, and dpkg
is trying to go back to 12.04, or something like that.
