Title:
ndiswrapper-dkms 1.58-2: ndiswrapper kernel module failed to build
Status in “ndiswrapper” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Bug description:
I don't know why my system wants to report this bug now (after restart), but I had to add declaration
static inline struct inode *file_inode(struct file *);
before function procfs_write_ndis_settings in file /usr/src/ndiswrapper-1.58/proc.c
because of error messages after trying to install (sudo dkms install ndiswrapper/1.58 -k 3.11.0-12-generic)
The error message, something like "look into
/var/lib/dkms/ndiswrapper/1.58/build/make.log", helped.
