The actual problem here seems to be the following:

The fonts are NOT installed.
Please run 'dpkg-reconfigure ttf-mscorefonts-installer' to perform the installation again

So there was an error install the ttf-mscorefonts-installer.  Could you
please add the log file /var/log/apt/term.log to you bug report?  The
one apport added is a condensed version.
