Hi Steve,
The 30_os-prober and 30_uefi-firmware are the same as from the stock grub2 install.
Boot-Repair only adds the 25_custom entries.
The subject of this bug is that in step 2 (when SecureBoot enabled) of
this bug, the stock grub2 entries (30_os-prober and 30_uefi-firmware
) don't allow to boot Windows.
IMHO, this is not duplicate of bug #807801 , because:
- in #1183074 , the stock grub2 Windows entries exist, but fail only when SecureBoot enabled
- in #807801 , the entries fail (or don't exist) even when SecureBoot is disabled.

Incomplete
Bug description:
Computer with preinstalled Windows8. SecureBoot enable by default.
1) User installed Ubuntu13.04 64bit.
After install and reboot, GRUB appears, allows to boot Ubuntu correctly, but the Windows entry fails.
2) Used Boot-Repair's Recommended Repair, which added some Windows entries in /etc/grub.d/25_custom

3) Disabled SecureBoot in the UEFI firmware, then ran Boot-Repair's Recommended Repair, which purged grub (and shim and linux-signed) then installed grub-efi.
