You said that the info there was the result of running Boot-Repair's
Recommended Repair, which AIUI modifies the boot entries. Are you
saying that they're identical to the entries from a stock grub2 install?

Incomplete
Bug description:
Computer with preinstalled Windows8. SecureBoot enable by default.
1) User installed Ubuntu13.04 64bit.
After install and reboot, GRUB appears, allows to boot Ubuntu correctly, but the Windows entry fails.
2) Used Boot-Repair's Recommended Repair, which added some Windows entries in /etc/grub.d/25_custom

No entry allow to boot Windows
3) Disabled SecureBoot in the UEFI firmware, then ran Boot-Repair's Recommended Repair, which purged grub (and shim and linux-signed) then installed grub-efi.

User can now boot Windows from GRUB.
