Title:
Acer Aspire One AA1 netbook volume control keys do not work

Status in “systemd” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: udev

Volume control works in windows, but not in Ubuntu 10.10. The
control is Fn [up arrow or down arrow]. This used to work just fine,
but after upgrade to 10.10 it no longer works. Nothing happens when I
use this key sequence and the volume is fixed at one level. Not sure
what package to associate with this. Perhaps ALSA. I uninstalled
pulseaudio bc of the following log error.

  Apr 4 07:38:39 acer pulseaudio[24607]: core-util.c: Home directory /home/richard not ours.
Apr 4 07:38:39 acer pulseaudio[24607]: lock-autospawn.c: Cannot access autospawn lock.
Apr 4 07:38:39 acer pulseaudio[24607]: main.c: Failed to acquire autospawn lock

  lsb_release -rd:
  Description:	Ubuntu 10.10
  Release:	10.10
