The linux-image-extra-generic package is no longer being built, so the
fact that it's an older version number should be find.  However, you may
want to open new separate bugs for the suspend and power down issues.

Bug description:
  Hi, linux-headers-generic are installed in my Ubuntu in version
  3.8.0-19.35, same with linux-image-generic, but linux-image-extra-
  generic is in version 3.8.0-19.30 and I think it makes some strange
  errors - I cannot suspend to RAM my laptop, I cannot shutdown it
  etc...
