Public bug reported:
Updating to Precise 12.04.2 during new installation and get an error
saying the following:
'Could not install 1.8'
The update will continue but the 'ruby 1.8' package may not be in a working state. Please consider submitting a bug about it.
subprocess installed post-installation script returned error exit status
2.
Also, Firefox and other dialogue lost all of their pictures for the back
button, forward button, OK, button etc.
I am using Backtrack 5r3 Gnome...
Version 2.30.2
Distributor: Ubuntu
I am using Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS (Just updated it, when I received the
error, when system was 'cleaning' before reboot')
I can not find software center and the command is not working.
** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
