You shouldn't need ndiswrapper/Windows drivers for that adapter these
days. What you need is a 3.8 kernel:

Test an Ubuntu 13.04 LiveUSB/DVD. It should work out of the box.

Bug description:
I've followed the ubuntu docs, I've installed several different driver
versions the drivers installed and the device is detected but nothing
happens after sudo modprobe ndiswrapper is entered into terminal.
