Title:
/etc/default/nfs-common has no default entry for NEED_IDMAPD

Status in “nfs-utils” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
The Ubuntu specific guides for NFS settup

  https://help.ubuntu.com/community/NFSv4Howto

  ,as the older one, and

  https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SettingUpNFSHowTo

point the user to the nfs-common option

  NEED_IDMAPD

, which is not incorporated by default in

  /etc/default/nfs-common

  --------------------------------

  Additional:

This is a little bit obfuscating.

  --------------------------------

  Expected:

It would be clearer to provide this option also in the config file, when the guides point to it. Also a short comment about the function and usage would be helpfull.

[Or on the other hand to change the guides, but the option by itself
  looks usefull.]
