Title:
  Im unable to install Ubuntu

Status in “ubiquity” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
Im unable to install ubuntu 6.06 LTS , its the problem with the installer. Most of the time it waste my time saying installer crashed, (According to me TEXT mode installation was better, atleast for the next release use textmode installation) . I don't know if its the problem with the CD drive, i don't think so, i tried it on another machine,
installer loading procees was slower than mine in that machine, it didn't work at all. Funny thing is that EDUbuntu, and Kubuntu(with little trouble), i was able to install. But ubuntu ( I won't install it again), (see it wasted my presious tiime)

Please figure as soon as possilbe
