DEFT 7 is based on Lubuntu 11.10 and the project's forum actually
contains a topic where is is advised against upgrading to 12.04 (cf.
http://www.deftlinux.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=127 ).

However I did see somewhere else (sorry, I can't remember where) the
problem is that DEF Linux 7 installer crashes instead of warning the
user there is not enough space on the destination partition.

So the simple sollution is to simply use a bigger partition (about 4.6GB seem to me to be the very least but it will definitelly install alright on a 5GB (for DEFT 7.1, latest release is actually 7.2).
There is also an expired similar bug for DEFT 7.2. I could find it when I posted this bug (which I did because the version is different) but now at this moment. Sorry.

So I changed this to NEW but the workaround/sollution is rather simple.
The "bug" is just lack of information... Not sure how to mark this
though.
