If this were a widespread issue with fonts, it would have been
noticed/reported long before now. There must be something unusual about
your system to cause this; we would need you to help us figure out what
that is in order to this bug.

The desktop when loaded appears as follows: (This is just the sample
of menu items which I took a pic).

Text is irregularly dabbed with dashes. Sometimes its hard to figure
there are some characters on screen or not while writing code for e.g.
