[Bug 1191328] Re: Grub2 is not installing kernel updates

So not sure now if this is an issue with Grub2 or the actual update
apps. Installed synaptic which showed all the latest packages on the
system however the Linux 3.9.0-6 was listed but not actually downloaded
yet. Checked it for install and it downloaded. Rebooted system and now
get:

uname -a
Linux mythbox 3.9.0-6-generic #13-Ubuntu SMP Fri Jun 14 15:47:09 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux


Will be interesting to see if future updates to kernel install automaticall are not.

Bug description:
  Installed Ubuntu 13.10 back in may:
  uname -a
  Linux mythbox 3.9.0-3-generic #8-Ubuntu SMP Tue May 28 18:40:41 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

  Since they I have run both Software Updater and sudo apt-get dist-
  upgrade. These updates have been added so far:

  /usr/src$ ls
  linux-headers-3.9.0-3          linux-headers-3.9.0-5-generic
  linux-headers-3.9.0-3-generic  linux-headers-3.9.0-6
  linux-headers-3.9.0-4          linux-headers-3.9.0-6-generic
  linux-headers-3.9.0-4-generic  nvidia-313-updates-313.30
  linux-headers-3.9.0-5

  However non of the newer versions have been taken into use yet even
  though many resets and power cycles have been done.

  Boot directory only shows these:
