Title:
Suspend and hibernate do not work for Sony VGN-TZ150N (Vaio TZ)

Status in “acpid” package in Ubuntu:
  Incomplete

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: acpid

Whenever I try to suspend or hibernate on my laptop the screen has a
blinking cursor at the top-left with everything else black. Nothing
comes back on, requiring a full reboot.

The power-light does not go into power-down mode either (red on the
  Vaio TZ).

I am running Ubuntu 8.04.1, the Hardy Heron.
