I am having the same problem with Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS and on every boot
it tries to recover the root directory.

Linux version 3.2.0-45-generic (buildd at panlong) (gcc version 4.6.3 (Ubuntu/Linar
o 4.6.3-1ubuntu5) ) #70-Ubuntu SMP Wed May 29 20:12:06 UTC 2013
