It's actually been that way for 13.04 and 13.10. I'm not sure if change
is warranted, now that development is the focus.

Title:
  https://help.ubuntu.com/12.10/installation-guide/ needs editing

Status in “installation-guide” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed
Status in “ubuntu-docs” package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  1) the URL says 12.10/installation-guide/
  2) the top line says: Ubuntu 12.04 > Ubuntu Installation Guide
3)the headline says: Installing Ubuntu 12.10 from the Alternate CD (while there isn't an alternate CD for 12.10)
  4) the three links lead to 12.04 docs

It looks like there has been a (too) quick updating by only replacing
"12.04" with "12.10" automatically (but only partially)
