Title:
incorrect completion for new upstart commands
Status in “bash-completion” package in Ubuntu:
Confirmed
Status in “upstart” package in Ubuntu:
New
Bug description:
Binary package hint: bash-completion
Upstart adds four new commands for controlling services: "status",
"start", "stop", and "restart". On lines beginning with these
commands, bash-completion should offer the list of services, similar
to how the "service" command currently does. For example, starting a
line with:
$ sudo status g
and pressing the TAB key should offer "gdm" and any other services
beginning with the letter 'g' (grub-common). Currently completion
offers files in the current directory starting with 'g'.
