What you can do is run "sudo apt-get install python-launchpadlib" then
run "apport-cli -f -p ubiquity [after that you should substitute it for
lightdm] --save bug.apport" in Quantal so it will save it for later
submission, and in Raring if you see this issue you should report it
with "apport-collect 1059083" and we can record it as affecting both
versions.

Bug description:
Selected option to log in automatically during install. After reboot,
login screen shows up with no password field. Have to click user name
to get password prompt. After entering password, you are returned to
the login screen. If you select XFCE session, login works. After
logging out, you can then select Xubuntu session and login works.
Subsequent logins work okay after rebooting.
