  This bug has been submitted upstream to Debian, with a patch:

  I'm adding here to create a "watch" on the Debian bug.

  I have a test package available in my PPA for Ubuntu:
  https://edge.launchpad.net/~kirkland/+archive

  Hopefully Debian will take these changes promptly and we can sync the
  Debian package in time for Intrepid.
