Title:
blacklist no longer works on ubuntu

Status in “udev” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
since upgrading to 12.10, blacklist.conf is now ignored, as putting
blacklist mceusb in it no longer blacklists the mce kernel driver, as
it still will show up in lsmod.
