Public bug reported:
When attempting to install today's Precise Server daily image, I ran
into a complaint from the installer about a kernel mismatch.
The build I attempted to install from was:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ubuntu-server/precise/daily/current/precise-
server-amd64.iso
It appears that the running kernel on the image is 3.5.0-37, while the
image only includes the new lts-raring kernel packages, which are at
3.8.0-28.
In the syslog I get the following "WARNING: no packages matching running
kernel 3.5.0-37-generic in archive". From there, the system has hard
time with detecting devices, etc.
** Affects: ubuntu-cdimage
Importance: Undecided
