The smoke tests of 20130730 are still failing due to this same issue.

Status in “debian-installer” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  The d-i installations with precise images of 20130723 appear to have
  mismatching kernel versions in the archive against the d-i. Occurs on
  both amd64 and i386 images. The following error is reported in during
  the installations,

  Jul 23 09:02:07 debconf: --> INPUT critical anna/no_kernel_modules

  The following smoke jobs are impacted.
