  apt-clone takes a long time to restore previously installed packages,
  gives the appearance of being hung

Status in “apt-clone” package in Ubuntu:
  New

Bug description:
  I already had  xubuntu 12.10 running fine.
  I decided to upgrade to 13.04  through installation DVD .
  all stages got over in less than 30 minutes but at the end it got stuck at  "restoring already installed packages"

  I kept on waiting for more than 3 hours and now also i have left on
  god , may be after 8 hours when i wake up it will done.

  
  I have Pentium 4 processor with 1 GB RAM. 

  
  I am attaching , screen shots and videos of what was going on.
